One Question And Two Issues

Hi, was just a bit confused about something to do with character creation.
Does my first cat have to be an apprentice and then go on to be a warrior? 
Warriors are made at any time ; they are the majority of the clan and are very much needed.

AND
Warriors- But be at least 18 moons old or older and have had a completed hunting, battle training, and territory thread as an apprentice

Also a small issue. Even on the questions board I can't post less than 150 words... I understand that this is for RPing but for other things such as questions and chat, people will have to do 150 words. Sorry if you meant for this to happen but a lot of people would want to keep it fairly punctual and go 150+ words on the RP part of the site. Because it generally is something people would just waste space on. I'm on another Proboards site which has a word limit for the RP part but not the other parts of the site. Point being that it can be done. Again, sorry if you meant for this to happen, and if so I'll just say no more about it.
And another issue, the discord link leads not to a discord- but to a BBcode thing. Just wanted to let you know.

For the character creation question; since it's a starting site and no one has yet joined, HP are auditioned for obviously, but like the rank kit, apprentice, and warrior can be made at anytime. Sorry if it came off as a bit of a confusion. Since it's a new character you can make either of those 3 ranks unless you're wanting to create a HP rank. The rules themselves will be edited once the site gets up and running.

The second part I probably should have made a little more clearer; my apologies. So basically, it's a ranking system to let you know WHEN you can rank up your character if you created a character that's young then a warrior. The ranking system is also just there to tell you the age of what is expected to graduate you're character. For example; if you created a kit or an apprentice as you're first character they'll need the requirements of said rank to be able to be graduated into a warrior. So if you're an apprentice and have the requirement of a complete hunting, battle training, and territory thread finished. And the character is hit 18 moons THEN you can request a warrior ceremony to that said apprentice can become a warrior.

I should probably go over how to explain everything in the rules so it's not so confusing. I'm sorry about that; it's my first site that I've created so I'm still learning how to word things to be able to help others understand what I'm getting at. Thank you for pointing that out.

The word count; I do see the issue there too. Sorry about that. I completely didn't even think about outside of the RP spectrum when it comes like asking questions in a thread like this. Thank you for pointing that out as well.

I was not aware the discord was not working. I'll have to figure out how to get that fixed to able to link to the actual Discord server. Phew, I still got some stuff to learn. Thank you for pointing all that out for me! Did you have an other questions or issues that you've found that I can try and fix for you? I want this site to be something great one day and have things be easy for others to work through so feedback would be great.

OK, OK and OK haha. Was just a little confused there but thanks so much for explaining where I misinterpreted. And also if I tried to create a site like this it would be a bit of a flop, so keep doing what you're doing, and happy to help whenever needed. Your're honestly doing so great so far.

And no problem with the word count, just something I found slightly troubling actually when I was posting the question about ranks. Thanks for fixing it, I was honestly just kind of thinking of if people would do something like OOO, OitabdjvO, XXWUSBU etc. to fill up space. (Oof)

As for the discord, that's OK, I'm sure you'll get it in the end. Out of curiousity, and wondering if there is a way I could help if I've seen it done differently, how did you do the discord link? No problem with the feedback, I haven't seen any other problems, but will report any here as soon as they are found. If I DO find any that is. I'm a big warrior cat fan actually, have literally read 98% of the books including the latest ones, and am ripping out my hair while Erin Hunter writes the next one (Eyeroll). I haven't been on a WC RP since a couple years after I started, and all the years RPing before that, but then the site I mainly frequented on got shut down and I got out of habit. I would also really love to see this become a large active community.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that! But thank you for the encouragement; It's the first time I've ever created a forum of my own like this. If you're up for it I'd love for you to be some of my staffers if you'd like? I could use the help around here in case something didn't work out and I wasn't aware of it. I went ahead and lowered the word count to 100 just to make a post so it's not like..spamming ect haha.

I love WC rps so much; I started rping when I was 16 (I'm 22 now almost 23) and I've read a lot of Erin Hunter's warrior cat books. But it's been so long since I've read them.

And the only way I was able to do that is the discord that I set up for this site has an invitation code to invite friends that send the link to the discord server to people so all I did was using the bbc code that creates links with a name attached to it and posted the invite link code into the link bbc code if that makes sense.

Wow! I would gladly join the staff team if you would have me. I don't know more than the basics html or bbc wise, but am learning and would love to help any way I can, including that area, if you require.

I started at 13 I THINK, (Feels so long ago now) and am now 19, almost twenty. Honestly I think the latest few series she brings in SO many new cats, and it's a bit whoa when you first read it (The sets after Omen Of The Stars eg.Vision of Shadows is like this) and she's started another set called the Broken Code which is her most eccentric series yet in my opinion. Purely because the Thunderclan leader gets possesed and then there's some other new mysterious evil OwO (no spoilers of course) and so I'm kind of annoyed that she's still working on the third book. (Sigh pressure) What book/series were you up to when you stopped? I think its progressed a lot honestly. (yes I'm fangirling in paragraph above)

That does make sense although I wouldn't be 100% sure how to do it, so don't know what else could happen there. No worries though, as I said before, (different wording, same vibe) if you can make this entire server thing, you can figure out a few bugs.

Of course! I'd love to have you on the team. If you don't feel comfortable with helping with the set up from lack of knowledge I do have Application Staff openings that need filling. Since it's only you at the moment you sort of have a pick on it!

I don't remember what book I was on. I know I finished her original series and was on one of the other spin off centered on certain cat lives. I think I was on the omens one at one point. It's been so long ago I don't even remember lol.

I don't mind whatever you need me to do I'll be happy to do it. I'm both flexible and active and also am happy to update things to do with WC, as I'm quite knowledgeable about it (Not boasting or anything here XD) but also glad to do Application Staff. I'm actually just finishing up my first cat on and off now, almost done.

Haha that's fine honestly I wouldn't either in your situation WC book wise. I have quite a few of the books and they take up a lot of my shelf space. (Some of them are falling apart a bit, and I get a few weird looks from my flatmates. I don't really care though, I'm unfortunately a touch obsessed as you may have figured, and I've had these books since 11ish so I'm a bit attached as I'm the sort of personality which loves to have clutter in their habitat.)

From here I think we should be able to get going pretty quickly. The advertisement has been updated as well with an actual minor plot and so has the application sheet template updated as well. It all looks great! I've looked at all that and have no complaints / suggestions. Keep doing what you are doing, this is really coming together nicely. I'll definitely do some advertising on some of my other sites, although right now that's not many... eh, anyway point is I will also do some advertising, because we need to get this more well known!
