Large white paws with sharp claws meant for climbing trees. His body is wrapped with a thick fur coat that is light brown in color striped with dark tabby stripes; the only part of him that is not marked with be his chest that is pure white. His front paws have ankle socks and his back legs have thigh high socks on them such as white as his chest. He has a strong sense of loyalty and believes in working together to make the clan stronger. He's a fatherly figure who enjoys talking and mentoring young apprentices despite not having one of his own. He likes being hands on when it comes to interaction with his clan. He's very social but is known for being rather blunt and sometimes tactless and rude without intentionally meaning to be. He peaks his mind no matter how it comes out which sometimes gets people angry at him without meaning too. He's not one to generally lose his temper but if he gets hurts or insulted he gets rather nasty and doesn't care what comes out of his mouth as long as it hurts the person to the same extend they hurt him. He doesn't like being underestimated and others thinking he's a pushover just because he's generally friendly and social. You mess with the people that he cares about and you're messing with him. When he jokes with friends it all depends on what kind of relationship he has with you but sometimes you'll him act differently with his close circle of friends that makes it seems if he's being mean but in fact is just how they play around with each other. the history Father • Sharpclaw - 65 moons - Alive Mother • Cloudpetal - Deceased Siblings •  Tawnyfur - 35 moons - Alive Important Others• Badgertooth; as an apprentice he was the one who found Cloudpetal during the thunderstorm during his warrior assessment. He ended up being like a mentor and best friend for Brackenpaw after he lost his mother. Overall History • Brackenthorn grew up with his twin sister Tawnyfur who's his best friend. She liked to cause far more trouble than he did but they were always a pair and never left each other's sides when they were young. As a young tom from his kithood and apprenticehood he tended to be one who got into trouble a lot with his sister. He loved playing pranks on others and really didn't care what others said about him as long as he was living life to the fullest. That all changed when a nasty thunderstorm hit the area; his parents were out there during an assessment for one of the apprentices who was about to graduate into a warrior and Brackenthorn's parents were part of the chosen warriors to watch from a distance to make sure the apprentice did well. It was a nasty storm and wind whipped the trees making them creak. Lightning had struck down a tree and fallen somewhere in the territory by the Sandy Hollows where the assessment was taking place. A search party had been sent out and with them they returned with one wounded warrior and two dead bodies along with the shaken up warriors who'd been sent out. Brackenthorn's father had been carried along the back of the warrior to be who'd found his body; alive and injured but unconscious and brought him in. The two dead bodies belonged to the apprentice's mentor and Brackenthorn's mother. From that day on; only an apprentice himself Brackenthorn saw first hand what nature could do; how much destruction it could bring...and how much heart break it could do. He's gone into a state of disbelieve and nearly attacked his sister when she tried to comfort him. He was a wreck and it took a good talking from the apprentice who had their assessment done to bring him back to his sense; they became close friends after that and Brackenthorn looked up to him as a older brother.
